Password Changes

Password changes for IT-managed applications and systems can be managed online at http://apply.rice.edu.  This includes NetID (used for email, computer login, dialup, and other applications) passwords. Contact the Help Desk (x4357) for assistance.

Forgotten passwords for IT-managed applications and systems can be reset. For security reasons, a photo ID is required before the Help Desk staff or other IT support staff members can reset a password.

Note: For organizational or departmental accounts, you must be listed as the owner of the account to request the password changed. If you are replacing the previous owner, you will need to submit a request to have the ownership changed.
