Student, Faculty and Staff Interaction
Central to the Hispanic Center for Excellence program are the proactive
relationships encouraged among the students, faculty and staff of
Baylor and UTPA, as well as practicing physicians. Face-to-face encounters
between all program participants will be fostered and
encouraged. Additionally, it is our belief that technology and
telecommunications can greatly enhance the opportunities for building
strong personal and professional relationships. To further this end, a
matrix of electronic forums will facilitate direct communications between
the various groups. Some of these forums will be private, but a few will
be public and will be of interest to the health community beyond the
confines of this project. Proceedings of this second category of
forums will be archived in this section of the server.
