small businesses, focusing on consumer products.  Discusses the critical steps
in new product development from ideal generation to business analysis and
cross-functional team management to product launch into the marketplace.
Students will work in groups to develop their own new products and to prepare
the key elements of a new product introduction.

abroad.  It seeks to provide the student with a solid foundation in the
vocabulary and discourse related to functional business areas such as the legal
organization of a company structure, international treaties such as NAFTA,
MERCOSUR, The European Union, interational sale of goods, direct and indirect
investment in Latin America and Spain, commercial paper, intellectual property,
conflicts resolution and contracts.  This general conceptual and specific
